Overview

In ten years, the Street Parade has turned the city of Zurich into a techno mecca: what began in 1992 as a small underground demonstration is now the largest scene event in Europe, attracting over a million participants from all over the world. "The largest and most peaceful demonstration ever held in Zurich," as the city police boasted, was not always uncontroversial and was even once threatened with being banned. This film tells the exciting story of the birth and development of the Street Parade into the mega-event it is today. To mark its 10th anniversary, Street Parade book author Christoph Soltmannowski documents the success story with facts and background information.
