Overview

Covent Garden's Royal Opera House sets the stage for this all-star tribute performance that gathers together some of the biggest names in classical music to honor Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky on the centenary of the great Romantic composer's death. With appearances by the artists of the Royal Ballet and the Royal Opera Chorus, this special also features performances by Placido Domingo, Leanne Benjamin, Lesley Collier and Kiri Te Kanawa, among others.
