A story about childhood trauma, memory, and the ability to break the cycle of violence. A child performs a shadow play, telling the story of how his parents met. The tale is interrupted by an argument: the enraged father bursts into the room and destroys the play. Years later, the protagonist becomes a father himself and discovers the old figurines. Together with his son, he continues the story that was once interrupted. "Shadows of Childhood" is a film about a choice: to pass on to the next generation the pain experienced or the love that was once lacking.
