Focusing on the West Lake Spring Flower Fair in Yuexiu District, this documentary adopts multi-site ethnographic participant observation. It traces the journey of the 2024 fair, showcasing the traditions of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area people rooted in Lingnan and Cantonese culture: loving, admiring, using and growing flowers. These customs find their fullest expression in the Spring Festival ritual of wandering the flower streets. Forming a distinctive form of intangible cultural heritage — “everyone is an inheritor” — it serves as a powerful cultural foundation and contemporary call for advancing the integrated development of the Greater Bay Area and consolidating the sense of community for the Chinese nation.
