After DBK is released, MK must go on a journey of self-discovery to become the hero of this generation needs. Through trial and tribulation, MK will discover new powers, responsibilities and ways of defeating the villains in this futuristic world.

The Spider Queen teams up with a mysterious, shadowy villain to collect powerful artifacts in order to defeat MK and his legendary teacher Monkey King. And the mysterious benefactor, who will be revealed as Lady Bone Demon will emerge from the shadows with a plan to collect mystical items throughout the city in order to construct a device capable of defeating MK once and for all.
